Star Trekkies will be in heaven at Harrahs Casino in Las Vegas.
Approximately 120 Star Trek themed Slot machines are being placed within the Harrahs Entertainment Casinos. The new Star Trek slot machines were built by WMS Industries, which were unveiled at the Global Gaming Expo last month. The games will have video snippets of the first 79 episodes and is all based on the original 1960s television series.
With this new introduction of slot games Harrahs have removed hundreds of participation slot machines. Their reasoning behind these changes is to spread the revenue share percentages with slot makers. Harrahs believe that unique gaming technology will be welcomed on the casino floors regardless of where the economic environment.
